Utah TV station broadcasts wrong picture of accused child porn producer

The way this correction is worded makes it unclear if the station used an incorrect pic of the accused, or if it broadcast one of an innocent person. We’re guessing it’s the latter, since that’s what would cause a correction. If that’s what happened, the station should include an apology to the person it labeled a child porn producer.

Last night we brought you the story of a Salt Lake man accused of producing child pornography.
We apologize we showed the wrong picture of Jonathan Cordier and would like to show  the correct one now.
FBI agents arrested Cordier earlier this week.
Court papers say a caller to the Clearfield police department
reported Cordier exposed himself in an online chatroom using a webcam,
and he co-erced a young girl to engage in sexually explicit conduct.

If put on trial and convicted, Cordier could face a life sentence.
He will be back in court Tuesday.
