In Thursday's front page story about Betty Gusler surviving the loss of her mother and son in the flood of 1985, a quote should have read "The death of a child is not something you're supposed to go through. A House of Delegates measure that would eliminate the Virginia Commission for the Arts in two years would take effect only if both General Assembly houses agree to make it part of the completed state budget. Bill Johnson is an amateur cyclist. Also, the deer skull and hide that are part of his “Shrine to the Sacred Deer” are not from the deer that hit Johnson during the Mountains of Misery ride in 2007. Those facts were incorrect in a story in Monday’s paper. Report an error
