A Bay Area News Group story in Wednesday’s Daily News (”Man pleads no contest in DUI crash”) incorrectly stated Keith Knudsen’s plea. He pleaded not guilty to charges of gross vehicular manslaughter in connection with a fatal car crash last week. The Daily News regrets the error.
A story in Saturday’s Daily News (”Raising a city”) incorrectly stated that the Sequoia Union High School District was segregated in the early 1960s and that Ravenswood High School was all black. The district actually was not segregated and the student population of Ravenswood was mixed, with black students steadily moving into the majority until the high school closed in 1976. The Daily News regrets the error.Editor
