In our report on the inquest into the death of Amy Winehouse in last Thursday’s Metro, we said she was ‘five times over’ the drink-drive limit. In fact, the singer had 416mg of alcohol per decilitre of blood, five times the limit of 80mg, or four times over the limit. Report an error

A correction to a story decrying the lack of knowledge about astronomy: The article originally said that there were nine planets in the solar system, which of course there aren’t, following the demotion of Pluto to ‘dwarf planet’ status. We regret the error, and appreciate the irony. In our defense, we’re still pretty upset over [...]
