The article incorrectly stated that Amy Dickerson filed for bankruptcy in 2008. That is not true. The article also said there was a judgment against the Dickersons relating to a civil case with the contractor. That is not true. The case was decided in the Dickersons’ favor, and Chmeil General Contracting, LLC was ordered to pay the Dickersons $181,829.38. The Dickersons were in no way at fault.
