On Oct. 29, we reported on the death of Chuck Biscuits, the former D.O.A. and Danzig drummer, which turned out to be a hoax. Judgement error

A story published Aug. 7 about a class-action lawsuit against Selwyn House originally said Quebec Judge Pierre Gagnon recommended raising a cap on a proposed compensation package to $20 million from $5 million. A story published June 30 about a forest fire hitting two remote communities in northern Saskatchewan said the Stony Mountain federal penitentiary was evacuated. In fact, the penitentiary is in Manitoba, is not near the fire-affected areas and was not evacuated. Link  Report an error

A story published on June 6 about a Vancouver Island junior hockey star originally said Harrison Zolnierczyk pleaded guilty to two counts of child pornography. In fact, he pleaded guilty to two counts of voyeurism. Link  Report an error

A story published on May 27 about a number of fights at English Bay Park in Vancouver’s West End said the biggest fight involved 100 people and took place on Sunday. In fact, it happened late Saturday night and involved about 60 people. Link  Report an error
