An Aug. 26 story in the Sun quoted police warning of scams related to police-linked charities. One of the agencies mentioned by cops, the Canadian Police Comedy Festival, is a bona fide event in its eighth year and is not a scam. The Sun apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the story.
