The events and correct years are as follows: The United States closed its embassy in Yemen (2010); Prime Minister Ariel Sharon of Israel suffered a stroke (2006); John F. Kennedy Jr.'s magazine, “George,'' folded (2001); President Obama scolded officials about the botched Christmas Day terrorist attack (2010); US and British embassies in Yemen reopened (2010); white supremacist James von Brunn died (2010); singer Lou Rawls died (2006); Ayman al-Zawahiri said in a videotape that a US decision to withdraw troops from Iraq represented the “victory of Islam'' (2006). Correction: Because of an error by the State House News Service, a story in the Metro section of some editions of yesterday's paper incorrectly described the deceased soldiers whose funerals are protested by the Westboro Baptist Church of Kansas. The church members do not choose which funerals they protest based on the sexual orientation of the deceased. Link

Editor's note: A story in Saturday's paper about the debate in Wellesley over a school trip to a mosque inappropriately used material from a story published on a local website. Comments attributed to parents Ute Smith and Mary Crown were taken from an article that first appeared Friday morning on Patch.com's Wellesley site. The use of these quotes was a violation of the Globe's journalistic standards. Link

Clarification: The main headline for an article in Sunday's Arts & Entertainment section about an American Repertory Theater production of "Cabaret'' did not intend to suggest that the relationship between Amanda Palmer, who stars in the show, and Steven Bogart, her former drama teacher and mentor at Lexington High School, who is directing the production, was anything but professional. As a second headline and the story itself made clear, Palmer sought Bogart to direct the musical because she admired his professional abilities. Link

After the story ran, Ayanna, who lost his corporate law job last year, said he never meant to suggest that, and is not considering staying at home. Rather, he is looking for a job. Link
