A story Aug. 17 on Page J-5 about a published biography of Dr. Vincent Hume incorrectly stated that Hume died on Christmas Day 1969. Hume actually died on Dec. 26, 1969. Also, the story stated that Hume’s widow, Myrtle Hume, is now remarried. Myrtle Hume remarried, but her second husband also died. Report an error
