Craig Silverman, author of the new book Regret the Error: How Media Mistakes Pollute the Press and Imperil Free Speech (Penguin Canada/Union Square Press), will deliver a tour of history and today’s most outrageous and entertaining media mistakes and corrections, while also highlighting what over 70 years of scholarly research tells us about the level of accuracy in newspapers and television news.
