Thoughtless hed

A headline in the Rio Rancho Journal on Wednesday incorrectly said, “Ex-Cop Held in Impersonating Police Officer.” The former police officer was issued a criminal summons, but he was not jailed.

    Not to mention the syntax. I’ve never been held in an impersonating police officer myself, but I’m told it’s quite an experience.
