The Shakur corrections keep coming

The Media Equation column on Monday, about the Web site The Smoking Gun, which broke the story that The Los Angeles Times relied on fraudulent documents for an article on a 1994 assault on the rapper Tupac Shakur, misstated the nature of the assault. Mr. Shakur was shot five times; he was not murdered. (He died in September 1996 of multiple gunshot wounds suffered in a drive-by shooting.) Link
