Regret the Error

IN our story two weeks ago “No rap as shops sell booze to kids” we reported how figures obtained by the Liberal Democrats showed 189 shops out of 211 test purchased in North East Lincolnshire last year had sold alcohol to children who were under-age.
North East Lincolnshire Council have asked us to point out that the Liberal Democrat figures were incorrect and that, in fact, just 22 had failed – giving the area a 90 per cent pass rate.
