As noted by its Good, Bad, and Ugly blog, Reuters had an unfortunate boy/buoy typo in a recent story. The incorrect text made it onto many websites, including the New York Times (note the last graf):

Corrects reference in paragraph six to read “buoy” rather than “boy”.
