Apology
ON Tuesday the Northern Territory News published a story about a man waiting to be sentenced for shooting a 10-year-old boy in the stomach with a slug gun.
The story said Magistrate Sue Oliver supported a fully suspended sentence for the man. In fact, Ms Oliver was asked to consider a fully suspended sentence but said she did not think it would be appropriate.
The Northern Territory News apologises for the error.
