An editorial which appeared in Monday’s edition of The Beacon Herald included a factual error. It was Maple Leaf Foods, not McCain Foods, that was involved in a massive recall of meat products in August.

The recall in question was related to a listeriosis outbreak that killed 20 Canadians.
