Mike Espy: In an article in Section A on Thursday, The Times reported that former Agriculture Secretary Mike Espy had been convicted of charges that he illegally received tennis tickets and other perks from Sun-Diamond Growers of California. Espy was acquitted by a jury. Also, a 1999 Supreme Court ruling cited in the story involved an appeal by Sun-Diamond, not by Espy. Link
