Apology
On July 1, The Fiji Times carried a news item on the Fiji Sugar Corporation and sugar subsidies provided by the European Union under the headline ‘$1-billion deal under threat’.
This news item carried a picture of empty rail carts. We accept that the headline was misleading and that the picture was not directly linked to the news item.
We apologise for the error.
