Regret the Error

Friday’s edition of The Paducah Sun erroneously reported that Terry L. Cross, 51, of Cadiz, died in a wreck on Ky. 139 late Wednesday.
The story was based on an initial report from authorities that a fatal wreck occurred Wednesday on Ky. 139. A reporter erred in writing that Mr. Cross was killed. State police reported to the Sun on Thursday that Mr. Cross was injured. Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., listed Mr. Cross in critical but stable condition Friday afternoon. The Sun regrets this error.
