A taxing mistake

AN article published in The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday March 11, headed `Ex-Wallaby and wife tackle the tax man’, reported proceedings taken by media couple Peter FitzSimons and Lisa Wilkinson against the Australian Taxation Office over retrospective changes to tax rulings.
Mr FitzSimons and Ms Wilkinson are involved in a class action against the ATO and readers should not have inferred they have a current tax debt to the ATO. The Daily Telegraph regrets any embarrassment caused by the article.
