AN ARTICLE last week quoted Nedlands MLA Sue Walker as saying the Liberal Party had given her sparse emotional, political or financial support during a press conference to announce her resignation from the party.
These comments should not have been published as a direct quote by Ms Walker as they are not her words, nor did she refer to seeking emotional support from the party.
The Western Suburbs Weekly apologises for this error.
Furthermore, Ms Walker denies questioning, within the article, the extent of Liberal support in the electorate, and was instead referring to the number of Liberal branch members within Nedlands.
