IN reporting on Saturday on the Scottish Government’s disclosure of information on ministerial use of official limousines, we referred to the First Minister making some 1700 trips over a six-month period. This was in fact the total for all six cabinet secretaries plus the transport ministers, not just Alex Salmond, who made around 300 such journeys. As we reported, ministers made fewer car journeys than those made by the previous administration over a comparable period.
