Points of view are fine, but they generally belong on the opinion page, not on the front page as "objective news reporting." Too bad Worthington was only "under contract" with the NYT. If he was an actual day-to-day employee like, say, Linda Greenhouse, he'd be able to get away with this kind of thing all the time. Hasn’t anyone living in Times’ layers of editors ever heard of this new-fangled invention called Google?
