Source attempts to alter rotation of earth

The Practical Traveler column on Dec. 30, about booking around-the-world airline tickets, rendered incorrectly the name of a city in New Zealand. It is Christchurch, not Christ Church. In addition, it included a quotation that contained a statement that is factually incorrect. A travel agent is quoted as stating that it is preferable to travel westward, with the “rotation of the earth.” In fact, the earth rotates west to east. Link
