A story in Thursday’s edition of The Charleston Gazette said Nitro parks director Debbie Jordan spent $43,613 of her $55,000 salary in four months. The money was for salaries in the entire parks department, which is made up of five employees and about 12 lifeguards. Jordan’s salary is about $18,000 a year. Link
