Still friends?

In a Nov. 2 story about Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid’s plan to stay on the job despite his sons’ legal problems, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren disagreed with his longtime friend’s decision.

Holmgren said he was talking about himself, in response to a question about the demanding life of an NFL coach, when he said: “If that situation comes up in anybody’s family, I would think you would have to take a hard look at taking time off, of doing something to try and salvage the thing.”

Holmgren said he hadn’t spoken to Reid in 30 days at the time he made the comment. Link
