A story that appeared on Page 5E of Monday’s Tropical
Life about Diana Duyser, who sold to an online casino a grilled cheese
sandwich that bore an image of the Virgin Mary, contained the following
errors: The story reported that Duyser was offended that the sandwich
had gone on tour with actors Verne ”Mini Me” Troyer and Ron Jeremy;
it did not. The story reported the wrong job for Duyser’s daughter,
Krystal. She works at Publix as a tag coordinator and stock clerk who
works with vendors. And the story misrepresented a quote from Duyser
about a jewelry shop she is hoping to open; it combined two statements
she made at different times during an interview. She said: “If this
doesn’t work, I don’t know what we’re going to do. I think we’re one
step away from being out on the street.” Link
