Apology
Following
our article "Believers are away with the fairies” (March 26), we wish
to make clear that Lord Camoys did not authorise us to use, and did not
know we would be using – in our montage illustration including a
variety of religious symbols – a photograph which we recently took of
the stained glass window installed in his family’s Stonor Chapel in
1797. The window depicts Jesus Christ.
We
regret any contrary impression our publication may have given and
apologise to Lord Camoys for any embarrassment caused to him and the
congregation of the Stonor Chapel.
