A new study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal found that the risk of cardiac arrest for women who have a caesarean section is 1.9 per thousand, not 1.9 per cent, versus 0.4 per thousand, not 0.4 per cent, for women who delivered their babies vaginally. Incorrect information appeared in a story on page A1 Tuesday.
