On second thought

A story in
the special section "Where We Stand" Sunday reported that Anwar
Naderpoor said his Afghan restaurant in Bloomington, Ind., sustained a
broken window and racist obscenities written on a wall shortly after
the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Naderpoor says the graffiti was
obscene but not racist and that, in hindsight, the incidents may have
been unrelated to the attacks.
