Share a name, become an embezzler
A case of embezzlement in
which Sherri Adame, 33, of La Junta, was sentenced Friday, did not
involve Adame Trucks and Equipment or Adame Brothers Trucking companies
of La Junta. Adame had admitted embezzling from her former employer,
the Otero County Department of Human Services, and told the court she
had done so in part to help with her husband’s trucking business, which
goes by a similar name.
