A fix for a non-fix

Nytbanner_220An article last Saturday about Dolores Muñoz, an amateur boxer from the
Bronx who is training to compete professionally, referred imprecisely
to a 1975 fight between a male kick boxer and Jackie Tonawanda, a
female boxer who was trying to persuade New York State authorities to
give her a boxing license. The event, held at Madison Square Garden,
was "staged" in the sense that it was arranged; it was not contrived or
fixed.
