Cabinet member, not mistress
The obituary
of a former Irish prime minister, Charles Haughey, on June 14 quoted
one of his former cabinet members, Maire Geoghegan-Quinn, in the same
paragraph as a mention of his longstanding mistress. The mistress,
whose name was not given in the article, was Terry Keane. We apologize
for any implication that it might have been Geoghegan-Quinn.
