Attack of the spellcheck
Because of a
reporter’s misuse of a computer spell-checking program, a story in
Sunday’s Palm Beach Post about the Soulfull Saturday festival in West
Palm Beach quoted concertgoer Rebekka Pierre as saying: "It’s an
electric crowd – a lot of different people, white, black, old, young."
The word she used was "eclectic." The error appeared in a story
published on Page 1C of the Local section. Link
