Media lynching

In a Feb. 11 story on the Newark mayoral race, The Associated Press
erroneously quoted candidate Cory Booker. He said the city is being
"hijacked by developers," not "lynched by developers." The story also
erroneously quoted Booker as saying, "Should we be satisfied by a few
poorly constructed buildings?" Instead, it was Booker’s brother, Cary,
who made that comment.
