An attractive typo
The Cine File column about the 90th anniversary of Technicolor in the Nov. 27 Calendar section misquoted cinematographer Jack Cardiff in discussing the early days of the process: "They wanted light everywhere. If you had shadows, there was a danger of the shadows looking either magnetic or green or pink." The quote should have said "magenta or green or pink." Link
