This was put over the wire yesterday:
The Financial Post reported today that, ". . .air traffic controller NAV CANADA is owed US $1.9 billion by Northwest." This statement is incorrect. As of September 16, 2005, there are no monies owed by Northwest Airlines to NAV CANADA.
NAV CANADA, the country’s provider of civil air navigation services, is a non-share capital, private corporation with operations coast to coast providing air traffic control, flight information, weather briefings, aeronautical information services, airport advisory services and electronic aids to navigation.
