Welcome to “Jew Jersey,” a short commute from “Jew York”
We go away for a little while and of course that’s when a strong contender for Correction Of The Year emerges. We found this correction thanks to Gawker, though full credit for finding it goes to Westword, a Denver Weekly. It’s from the July 27 edition of the Denver Daily News:
The Denver Daily News would like to offer a sincere apology for
a typo in Wednesday’s Town Talk regarding New Jersey’s proposal to ban
smoking in automobiles. It was not the author’s intention to call New
Jersey ‘Jew Jersey.’
No link to the DDN is available. We’ll have to take Westword’s, um, word for it.
